Commissioned in 1907, the Chateau Laurier is an iconic piece of the Ottawa Downtown skyline. This year, Larco Investments decided to further expand the historic building to include long-term stay suites, a courtyard, and 100 additional parking spots available to both the public and guests. This expansion, designed by Alliance Architects also includes a new underground parking garage and the greening of four roofs. The new buildings are set to open in 2020 with construction commencing in late 2017.
Our Role:
The civil team as REMISZ Consulting has been retained by Larco Investments to design grading plans, erosion and sediment control plan, as well as the storm water, sewage, and water servicing plans in conjunction with the proposed design developed by allianceArchitects.
